OK, this polishes off the latest batch of patterns I finished drawing. These include a cheetah, a yorkshire terrier, and a fawn (whitetail deer). Again, larger samples of the patterns and finished pieces can be seen on my website.
I finally got around to scanning in some of my latest batch of pattern designs. They include a polar bear, standard poodle, curly-coated retriever, soft coated wheaten terrier, and a manchester terrier. You can see larger pictures of these patterns and finished pieces from the patterns on my website..
The Orange art show today went really well for me- thanks to all my old and new customers for coming out!! The weather was beautiful too- the sun was shining outside all day..
I am really happy with the way this design turned out. And I think the colors I put in the mats and behind the cutting really complement the leopard well...
This Sunday, May 4th, is my first art show of the spring- the Orange PTA Art Show in Pepper Pike. This show features over 60 local artists and artisans, and runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. I am a cut-paper and woodcarving artist. All my papercut artwork is designed by me and hand-cut with an x-acto knife.
PAPER: original pet, animal, and nature papercuttings, and custom work on request.
WOOD: cottonwood woodspirits and smaller Christmas ornament-type hanging pieces.
