Love Spreads

I have shared a lot of pieces that I thought turned out much better completed than they were in my head, so I figured it’s only fair to share one that went the opposite way. I had a concept and a sketch for a piece that I wanted to call ‘Love Spreads’ or something along those lines- a heart with the point touching a pool of water and putting out ripples. Once I cut it though, it just feels too simplistic to me and I am not sure the water gives the impression that I intended. Maybe it needs more layers? Hmmm.
