3 more patterns

OK, this polishes off the latest batch of patterns I finished drawing. These include a cheetah, a yorkshire terrier, and a fawn (whitetail deer). Again, larger samples of the patterns and finished pieces can be seen on my website.

Finally turned on the scanner - 5 new patterns

I finally got around to scanning in some of my latest batch of pattern designs. They include a polar bear, standard poodle, curly-coated retriever, soft coated wheaten terrier, and a manchester terrier. Orange Art Show

The Orange art show today went really well for me- thanks to all my old and new customers for coming out!! The weather was beautiful too- the sun was shining outside all day..

Clouded Leopard piece finished!

I am really happy with the way this design turned out. And I think the colors I put in the mats and behind the cutting really complement the leopard well...

Upcoming show reminder

This Sunday, May 4th, is my first art show of the spring- the Orange PTA Art Show in Pepper Pike. This show features over 60 local artists and artisans, and runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. So come on out- all are welcome, and admission is free!

Distractions

Not much new art-wise has been going on with me the last couple months because my schedule suddenly got a LOT more hectic with the addition of a brand-new family member. Meet Kodo:






He is a 19 week old Bernese mountain dog, brought home when he was 16 weeks. His unbiased parents think he is VERY photogenic though, so if I come out with a new BMD puppy cutting in the near future, you will know where the inspiration comes from.. ;)

I haven't been totally a slacker though- I do have a show coming up Sunday May 4th at the Moreland Hills elementary school. I have several new patterns I have designed and cut but I just haven't got the sale pieces matted, backed and posted on the finished-pieces section of my website yet. The patterns can be seen in the patterns section until that is done however. I also still hope to work up a couple more large framed pieces for this year, and do some work on the paper sculpture end as well..
